Right out of college in 2016, I landed my first job in IT here at machineLOGIC as an entry level Service Desk Technician. Through hard work and achieving certifications, I rose through the ranks by getting multiple promotions. 6 years later I am now the Director of Operations. machineLOGIC mentioned during my very first interview they love to promote from within, and I am living proof of that statement!
Because of the open and accepting culture at machineLOGIC, I am comfortable being my true self, encouraged to go outside of my comfort zone, and free to create the kind of career that I am proud of. I am excited every day to see and interact with my amazing coworkers who support me every step of the way.
machineLOGIC gave me my first real opportunity in IT and helped me find a pathway for a long-term career. Management worked with me to figure out which skills I’d like to expand on, and pursue certificates to build on those skills. This gave me relevant experience for the career path I want to pursue in IT industry. Even after being promoted, I’m encouraged to keep pursuing certificates to push for higher roles, or even roles which do net yet exist within the company. MachineLOGIC cultivates a culture of growth that has both helped me professionally and personally.
I started at machineLOGIC on the Service Desk in 2019, after a couple years and a few promotions, I found myself managing our Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams. It brings me joy to be in a position to help team members get rewarded, as I have been. I look forward to many more years at machineLOGIC.
